Friday May 4th was a special day.

I turned a year older and started a new decade of my life.

On this day, I also had a health scare when a birthday dinner turned into a potential life-threatening situation as I experienced an allergic reaction. God was on my side that day as I caught it in time before it went full blown.

Despite this little set-back, the weekend was wonderful. It was a reminder of how blessed I am to have people like you in my life.

So here’s to you!  A very special thank-you to all of you for the warm wishes, the bday greetings, and the very generous gifts. Your friendship and love are the greatest gifts of all.
