Hi beautiful people,
Happy Weekend! This week was full of precious moments and some challenging ones too. Our family welcomed two precious little girls in to the world (twin girls Amelia May and Penelope Leona-daughters of my brother Jay and sister-in-law Lucy). They arrived 8 weeks early! They still have lots of growing to do and frankly so do you and I. The truth is, growing never stops. It is one of life’s wonderful gifts but it can also come with a little (or a lot) of pain. You know those moments, when things don’t go our way, when we face inconveniences or “set-backs”, and when we are doing the best we can though it seems like nothing is going right. It is in these moments that we are pushed to our “limits” and are stretched beyond what is “comfortable.” The crazy thing is, it is these very moments that shape us, smooth out our rough edges (areas in our life that need work) and give us the opportunity to become a better version of ourselves.
I am no stranger to frustration, fear, or bursts of fury every now and then however what once used to rob me of hours and days are now merely fleeing moments. It’s no surprise that my last name growing up was LIM. I am the LIM in limited or the LIM in limitless. I am a work in progress and will continue to be till I take my last breath. Pray for me.
It’s easy to beat up on ourselves and blame others when things don’t quite go our way. The invite to you and I is not so much to be perfect people but to be better than who were- one choice, one action at a time.
