It's no secret that I am a foodie. I can spend hours in Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Organic Garage, or any Healthy Living Store for that matter. I am allergic to nuts, shellfish, avocado...and mediocrity so when it comes to what I feed my family, I look for EXCELLENCE. No crap in this household (and hopefully none in yours). I believe food can be Nutritious AND Delicious-that healthy, nourishing food doesn't have to come at the cost of amazing taste and that delicious food doesn't have to come at the cost of being healthy. The best food I've ever tasted and felt good about eating and feeding my family are both Nutritious AND Delicious. I love shopping at farmer's markets and I choose organic and local produce whenever possible. I seek out companies who share the same values of being Nutritious AND Delicious. I see eating as not only a necessity but also an investment. No health, no wealth. I love to entertain. I love to cook. Some of the best moments happen around the dinner table. My hope is that this space will inspire you to eat well so that you can live well. “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.”-Virginia Woolf
Good food doesn't have to mean junk food. In fact, the BEST food out there is both delicious AND nutritious. It fuels you and helps your body function as it was designed. "Let food be thy medicine."-Hippocrates
Healthy food doesn't have to be bland or boring. In fact, it's the exact opposite. Cooking is Art & Science. And it's amazing what you can create when you combine good quailty ingredients together. The possibilities are endless!
Nutritious AND Delicious
Anyone can create something that is nutritious but is it delicious? Likewise, many can create something that is delicious but is it nutritious? When we create something that is Nutritious AND Delicious, we unleash greatness in the food that fuels us. Whole Ingredients (unprocessed or minimally processed). Organic. 100% Junk Free (free of crap a.k.a. chemicals)
