Each story in the collection touches upon a topic and teaches an important life lesson that is valuable for both children and adults alike. The stories also provide an opportunity for further discussion and activities pertaining to each topic/life lesson (the authors provide relevant discussion questions/activities at the back of the book), which is a bonus tool for parents and educators.
The treasury itself comes bound as a hardcover book, which is always a nice touch. Given that most Berestain Bears books range from $3-$4 per paperback, with this treasury, you are able to get 5 books for the price of two!
All in all, this Berenstain Bears collection is cute, character building, and encourages all of us to be people who care…and share!
